CORPORAL VIRGIL, aka CRUISER
"VIRGIL BRINGS HOME THE GOLD!!"
Corporal Virgil earns the title of Commando of the Month
for skating his way to gold in the Vancouver Olympics!!
Itty bitty blades a-flying, Virgil took the Gold Medal in the Men's Speed Skating event!
(Who let that little dude out there anyway??)
Fresh from his victory lap, Virgil gave us a quick update on his life:

I would likes to thanks all da Commandos for yelling fer me
when I was on da ice and won da gold. Dat metal is sure heavy!
I also hab to thank mine mom for teaching me how to skate
and mine brother for being mine manager.
I am a 2 year old Green Rump and I still live in South Berwick, Maine
wit mine brother Bulldog and mine mom and dad.
It's berry, berry cold in South Berwick
and dar be lots of dat white snow stuff on da ground.
Is loves to eat and mine favorite thing is millet.
I also loves almond slivers and mine mom buys dem special for me cause
mine brother don like them. Her feeds me one every night for a bedtime snack.
I loves to tease mine brother, Bulldog. I fly to the top of hims palace and dance around
and hims gets mad cause I might poop in his food and hims will chase me off.
When we is out tagether hims keeps a sharp eye on me.
Bulldog keeps me in shape by chasing me arond da room.
Him sure can fly fast when him wants to!
Teasing da older brother is what little brothers do best.
Little brothers are berry, berry special.
Mine mom told me dat!
